The question every HR leader is now asking about AI

During my opening keynote at the Talent-Max conference in New Orleans, an HR leader asked me a question that stuck with me: 

What skills do our employees need with AI everywhere? 

You could tell the whole room, full of HR leaders and managers, was thinking the same thing. The reason is simple: many organizations still don’t have a clear picture of how AI is changing the nature of work, or what that means for hiring, development, or performance. 

We need to recognize that this isn’t a future problem. AI is already shifting how organizations operate, and HR plays a critical role in guiding that shift.
